Growing in Unity Wednesday!

Happy New Year and welcome to GIU Wednesday!!  This week Ruby is sharing her Unity creations with us all week long.

Meet Ruby:

Here is a little something about Ruby:

"Hi my name is Ruby Marchand. ( AKA Inspired Scrapper). I am retired and have a daughter, son and one very special Granddaughter Alyssa. My home is in London, Ontario Canada.

I have been scrapping and making cards for a very long time. My love for paper crafting started in 1995. Along with this hobby, I also did craft shows with flower and wood art. The show sales started to decline so I decided just to spend my time Scrap booking and Card-making. I still do some flower arranging and donate the items to a Cancer organization ( WELLSPRING) for their fund raising craft shows. In 2007, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. During this tough time, I managed to make cards on my good days. By October that year I was able to send 250 cards to our troops overseas. This hobby helped me focus on something positive. I started to receive encouragement cards from all over the world. The RAKS were from kind forum friends. I treasured each and everyone. They played a big part in my recovery. Blessed, I am a 6 year survivor.

My daughter introduced me to Unity Stamps in 2008 and I have been addicted since then. I LOVE Unity Stamps. The KOM and SMAK kits are my favorite. I can NEVER have too many. I visit the UNIY blog everyday for inspiration from the design team. I try to participate each week in FWF. I have gotten to know many of you and your talents there. You can also find me on my blog. It is an honor to be your GIU this week."
